Started our relaxing day by having a peaceful drink on the open air terrace, the young waitress was very attentive and a credit to the hotel. In the evening we had what I would describe as one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, followed by a sumptuous Canadian maple syrup tart, again the staff were very attentive. The standard of the room we stayed in was to a high standard and was immaculately presented. In summary, the Busby Hotel is a hidden gem on the south side of Glasgow, would certainly stay again or if you’re just looking for somewhere new to eat, I would give it a go.

Fantastic little boutique hotel just outside Glasgow city centre. Staff are always great, the fish pie was recommended and omg was it well worth eating. Had the full Scottish breakfast which is not for the faint hearted and will set you up for the day… highly recommend this establishment and am going to take my wife up for the weekend.

Every staff member was so friendly and happy… Food in the restaurant was lovely ( the fresh fish and chips were lush) The rooms were clean and well looked after and we had the best stay! I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Glasgow, it’s in a little village called Clarkston which is just a short drive to the city and only 45 minutes from Loch Lomond, which is a must see on a bright sunny day.

We have just recently enjoyed a two night stay at the Busby Hotel near Glasgow. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff who made us feel very welcome. The room was spotlessly clean with a firm bed which is wonderful if you suffer from back problems. There is plenty of free parking on site and the free Wi-Fi worked very well in our bedroom. We loved the décor and ambience in the restaurant and the food is excellent. The customer service was very efficient and the staff very friendly and amenable, especially Laura. The food is excellent value for money.
